Carolanne, painter
For the month of July, we are delighted to welcome
Carolanne, a young artist who, in recent years, has discovered a true passion for watercolor. From a young age, art has animated her daily life. Her father, a multi-talented artist, makes a living in the world of lettering and signage. As a child, she loved to accompany him in his many professional endeavors. Indeed, a precious memory is the time when her father and she covered carved wooden signs with gold leaf for the charming town of Rosemère.
Carolanne studied visual arts at Cégep Lionel-Groulx and Concordia University. She chose to pursue a career in primary education, where she shares her great passion for visual arts with children.
Her light and floral works are a tribute to nature, that great creator! Watercolor is a medium that comes to life with the presence of water, just like plants and flowers. A great traveler, Carolanne finds her inspiration particularly through her snapshots of European flower markets, old Parisian cafes, and the Italian countryside.
